Enhancements were required to the credit card application processes to enable the company to offer balance transfers and cash advances to its customers.

The requirement was to work from a file delivered daily from Experian, and to use an internal Rules database and the Eiger Balance Transfer Wizard, to decide which credit card applications should receive cash advances and balance transfers, paid off by BACS or cheque.
|
|
SQL/Server was used for long term storage of application and fulfilment details. I used ADO to execute stored procedures and SQL statements. MQ Series was used to check with a third party that accounts were set up, and fulfilment was achieved by BACS transfers and posting XML documents to a Word mail-merge print engine.
