The links below display some photographs I've taken using a Nikon Coolpix 5000 with Adobe Photoshop Elements for post-processing. These are best viewed with Internet Explorer, and on the assumption that most people will eventually move to broadband, the images are not particularly small.

I didn't make a start on this study of the eastern end of Loughrigg Fell until April, so I suppose my title should be 'A Fiscal Year on Loughrigg Fell'. If you look on this photo of the area you can see Lily Tarn in the middle of the left half. My approach is broadly from the top centre of the photo, between the trees and travelling south west.

Throughout 2003 I visited the Cheshire Lines Path in West Lancashire with the aim of documenting the wildlife that can be seen and enjoyed in each season. Rather pretentiously, I've written a Terms of Reference for the project. The results are displayed in the style of a notebook with a gallery of photographs for each month. Once the notebook is opened you can browse easily from month to month. If you think I've misidentified a species, please let me know.

You can see my stretch of the Cheshire Lines Path on an aerial photograph at the MultiMap website. The path runs from North to South through the middle of the photograph.

The project and some of the photographs were featured in the January, 2005 issue of Lancashire Life.
